First Impressions
This is an extraordinary house, full of charm and character, nestled in a narrow cobbled street in the historic hilltop town of Vejer de la Frontera, just a couple of minutes walk from the Plaza De España in the centre of the old town. The large oak front door leads you into a gorgeous patio shaded from the midday sun by an impressive palm. The antique stone floor and Moorish architecture create an atmosphere for relaxation and tranquillity.
Sleeps Sixteen (19 max.)
The house has extremely versatile accommodation. It is suitable for parties of guests sleeping up to 16 people, comfortably, in ten bedrooms; although it has beds for 19, to accommodate those unexpected additional guests, or children. It also works very well for 8 people, with each couple having their own area.
It is perfect for a large group of friends, a large family, or 2/3 families, who wish to holiday together but also want an element of independence. The spacious layout of the house is designed to either work as a whole or independently in two parts, divided between upstairs and downstairs, and, if full, it never feels crowded.
Both areas are serviced with a kitchen and sitting room/dining areas, bedrooms and bathrooms and each has access to the huge private roof terrace and the patio. It is safe for younger children, who enjoy exploring the labyrinth style design but also suitable for teenagers who can enjoy their own living space, and own entrance door out to the street at the rear of the house for that added independence.
Downstairs: Off the patio is a self contained apartment sleeping up to four people, one double and one twin bedded room, kitchen, and bathroom. Across the patio is a large living area, breakfast bar, one double and single bedroom and bathroom.
Upstairs: The second level has a main living area with a fully fitted kitchen, dining table seating 12+, 2 double bedrooms, and one with twin beds, bathroom. On another level is sleeping area with two twin bedded rooms, one single, a bathroom and access to Calle San Juan through a separate entrance.
The house is decorated in a Moorish style, in keeping with the architecture, and is designed for outside living in the summer months, with a roof terrace, BBQ, large dining table, and lounging area, and shady patio for reading and relaxing.
If you need to take a break from chilling to check your email while at the house, there is a broadband Internet connection for WiFi-enabled computers and devices.
"A Roof with a View"
"The most stunning panorama I've ever seen."
How one guest described the far-reaching views of the surrounding hills, coast and old town of Vejer from our roof terrace. The terrace will become your retreat day and evening for relaxing, dining (yes there is a barbeque), sun bathing and totally chilling-out.
